Hi everyone! This week we developed our market survey that we will be handing out around the Newport Beach area. We included questions about basic demographic info and cupcake-specific ones as well. Feel free to leave your suggestions on what other questions we should include or how we can improve the format. Thanks!
Another question that could be added is, "how far are you willing to travel to buy a cupcake?". You could also ask, "what cupcake are you?", this fun question could help you determine what are the most popular flavors according to people.

DeleteMaybe you guys can ask questions such as "what kind of dessert do you normally get?" and "Are you more likely to buy dessert in a good mood or bad mood?".

DeleteI think I would remove the Average Annual Income question. I think people might be a little reluctant to provide that information. I think you be able to find out demographic info for NewPort Beach,such as income by going to the census web site. Other than that I think it looks great!

We initially included that question because our target market specifically segments between people who are part of the middle- to upper-middle class, and so we wanted to confirm that we would generate enough revenue given the slightly higher price of our cupcakes. But I definitely see your point as well and we'll check out the census website. Thanks!!
DeleteI agree with you. Average annual income is irrelevant. I think anyone can afford a cupcake, the real question is why should they buy one.
